Description:
- The cold December mornings don't deter Lucia and her entourage to sing and perform special Lucia songs year after year. A young girl dresses up in white with a crown of candles on her head and turns up at peoples' homes. She is followed by little girls and boys dressed in white too; together they enter the dark rooms of the houses thus bringing light in the darkness. This symbolizes the act of good over evil. After the procession, saffron-laced buns and gingerbread biscuits are served with Glogg (a sweet almond and raisins wine).
