- I find it hard to understand these people. Although they are direct competitors on a multi-million euro market, they talk nicely about each others' businesses. They know each other, admire each other and learn one from the other. Here's one example: Mrs. Keerana Sripongpunkul, the SPA manager at the super-exclusive Six Senses Hideaway Samui. When hearing about our inspecting Kamalaya she widely opened her eyes. I was expecting a "hmmmm, those guys?" but her reply was totally different: "Excellent choice! Kamalaya is very good, among the best in Thailand." And then she went on with recommendations on a few other good SPAs we should visit. We took notes and then asked her: "What about the Spa you manage? Is it among the best ones?" The chief gardener is the only one allowed to act upon the vegetation within the mentioned rules. The Spa is located on a dedicated area within the resort, under the perfumed shadow of the everlasting bloomed trees. Even if you go for only a short visit, the view over the Gulf of Thailand and the neighboring islands is enough to regain the balance within yourself. The philosophy built from scratch by Khun Keerana, six years ago. The wellness programs are adjusted to each particular client. The essential oils are chosen based on the birth date which is matched to a certain nature element: water, fire, earth, air. If you are "fire" they will use "water" oils in order to cool you down and relax or "air" oils meant to stir the energy within yourself. It all depends on your needs. The spiritual, almost religious approach towards the therapy. The employees are all part of an ongoing energy purification program through Reiki. Why? "Because when we service our clients we must give them good and clean energy. They don't need to feel our tension or our family problems." I know some ladies working at the Romanian Post Service who would definitely need some Reiki. The people. Speaking about the personnel, I asked the manager about the recruitment crit
