- Choosing to avoid the bumper to bumper cafes on Newtown's Kings Street, the folks behind Luxe Espresso have given themselves a bit more room and set up shop on nearby Missenden Road. The team already has cafes in Bondi Junction and Picton, but this is no chain store operation. Everything here is made on-site, from the coffee blend, to the range of sweet and savory pastries on display. There is a hot breakfast and lunch menu that changes daily, but one of the sumptuous sandwiches (like smoked wagyu on light rye with horseradish mayo, pickles and cheese) will satisfy just as well.
