• With a seriously enviable position along the North Shore's exclusive Balmoral Beach, it's a little hard to understand how anything at this fish cafe and take-away can be considered "Bottom of the Harbour". Seriously decadent offerings such as oysters are on the menu, as are a slew of freshly grilled fish fillets and salads such as the classic Caesar. As a breakfast stop, all the classic brekkie options are available complete with that all-important morning cup of coffee. However, local proponents of Bottom of the Harbour like nothing more than to grab some fish and chips and head off to the beach, blanket in toe (www.yourrestaurants.com).
