Description:
- Café Hernandez started life as a small coffee shop in Potts Point sometime back in the early 1970s. Some 30 years later saw an expansion into Darlinghurst with a Spanish-style restaurant and café just off busy Oxford Street. Tapas are the main attraction here, with classic offerings such as the Spanish omelet, papas bravas and jamon Serrano on the menu; but hungrier patrons can opt for paella or even steak. Live jazz entertains patrons each Tuesday, but weekends see the biggest crowds, with coffee-drinkers enjoying the sun at the outdoor tables. - Kashmir Brummel
