• Coast sits high over Darling Harbour in a light filled pavilion with its great expanse of slanted glass, generous areas of timber decking and coastal garden. Relaxed and sophisticated, the design draws its inspiration from coastal and beach house elements. Boardwalks, bleached out timbers, vivid accent coastal colours and graphics with a bold sculptural lighting installation reflecting the Australian Coastline a stunning feature. The Verner Panton op-art fabrics provide drama and interest. Hassell created architectural, interior design and landscape architecture, Frost Design the graphic overlay and design of the lighting feature creating a strong sense of place and memorability. The overall effect is inviting and exciting, especially at night when the lights of the coastline interplay with the lights of Darling Harbour.
