Description:
- The name DonDon comes from don, the Japanese word for a rice bowl dish, and that's exactly what you'll get here. Generous dishes of teriyaki chicken, pork katsu or prawn tempura on rice are served up to savvy diners at this tiny Oxford Street eatery. Sushi and sashimi are available, but the hot dishes offer the best value and are famous in the area. There are no bookings taken here, but you can write your name and number on the sheet of paper by the door and sneak off to a nearby pub to wait for your table. - Kashmir Brummel
