When entering the blackboard gives you three espresso options, the house blend (excellent) and two origin beans. Tables made from remade workbenchs, old framed photographs, a mural showing the evolution of man from ape to the coffee-drinking dominant species we are today and old tin mugs and cutlery are all to be expected, so it goes without saying, Joe Black offers as much atmosphere as it does great coffee. Joe Black also offers some superbly fresh sandwiches where simple is best. Joe Black just might tick all the right boxes.
