Mosman Bay to Taronga Zoo Walk

Description:

  • This 2.5-kilometer (1.5-mile) walk takes you through suburban Mosman to Curraghbeena Park and then to Sirius Cove Reserve. Along the way you will see evidence of an Aboriginal midden, as well as native bush land and idyllic shoreline. The surrounding tranquility makes it hard to believe that the bustling city is just a short ferry ride away. There are several sets of steep steps to negotiate along the way, and the track through Sirius Cove can become muddy in wet weather. The walk finishes at Taronga Zoo wharf for ferries back to the city.
