  World class performers take to the stage at Sydney Opera House to present the opera of Mozart, Verde and Handel amongst others. Experience the highs and lows of young love in the story of young lovers from warring families in The Capulets and Montagues. Join Prince Tamino and the lovely Pamina in a mysterious land of fantastical creatures and strange characters of The Magic Flute. Be swept away to another world with the exotic Egyptian setting of Aida, or learn the lessons of love in Wolfgang Mozart's Così fan tutte - The School for Lovers.

  Performances are held in the Opera Theatre. With seating for 1547 people, its the second largest venue at Sydney Opera House. As the operas are performed in their original language (mostly Italian), subtitles in English are projected onto a screen above the stage.

  Bars inside Sydney Opera House open one hour prior to performance time, so why not arrive early to enjoy a pre-theatre drink (additional cost) and enjoy the unbeatable views of Sydney Harbour.
