Spit to Pulpit Rock Walk (The)

Description:

  • This fairly easy walk around the foreshores of Beauty Point was a bicentennial project. Taking in views across Middle Harbor to Seaforth Bluff and Powder Hulk Bay, there is plenty of scenery and some exquisite flora and fauna. The sandstone formations of Quakers Hat and Pulpit rock - named because of their resemblance to these objects - are fascinating. A distance of about three kilometers, the first part of the walk around Pearl Bay is suitable for wheelchairs. You can return to The Spit via the road to enjoy some beautiful gardens.
