A masterpiece of Gothic Architecture built upon the grounds of the first Catholic chapel in Australia. The Cathedral first opened in 1900 but work has continued until today. With all of Sydney's historic buildings scattered throughout, nothing stands out as much as St Mary's. The Cathedral is open to the public and holds mass regularly if you are interested in experiencing this religious centre first had.
