Description:
- Another gem on Sydney's northern peninsula, Whale Beach is particularly suitable for children and offers picnic and barbecue facilities. Stretch out on the clean sand or decamp to the twenty-five meter ocean pool at the southern end. Two beach inspectors patrol the beach from the September school holidays until the Anzac Day weekend (8a-5p Non-Daylight Saving, 8a-6p Daylight Saving). Volunteer lifesavers are also on duty at weekends and public holidays (Summer only).
