The York Apartments are a fair combination of reasonable price and value. They are located in the old Travelodge Hotel building in Yourk Street near the harbour bridge and most city attractions.

I have no connection with the hotel and this recommendation is based on that of friends who have stayed there.
A more expensive, but convenient alternative is the Sheraton Four Points Hotel, which is near the ciry centre and the aquarium.
