Hi Syed,
The Australian Government has a very helpful website, please see link below.
http://www.immi.gov.au/visawizard/
The process varies depending on what visa you are applying for and where you are coming from.
Some of the standard requirements are ability to show that you have enough funds to support your visit. This requirement is some what vague as they don't actually put a dollar amount on it. If you budget between $150 & $200 a day you should be okay.
Also they are pretty strict in regards to any criminal convictions.
My advice would be to go to the website and determine which visa you wish to apply for and then post any questions you may have in regards to the form.

http://www.immi.gov.au/immigration/ is a good website that covers how to obtain all the different types of visa, whether for tourism, work, or permanent residency. There are private agencies that claim to help people obtain visas, especially permanent ones, you should be wary of these, as many of them are less than honest. Dealing directly with the government is the safest way. They will help you if you need extra information or help to get the right sort of visa.

Hi Syed
The governments sites are very helpful,

The main thing is to remember that if you have any convictions in your country of origin it will directly affect your application for a Visa. Also depending on what type of visa you are applying for you will have to provide information like, professional accreditations, income, martial status, dependants, etc.
