• Star Hostel is one of the newer places catering to the backpacker crowd in Taipei. The hotel has 4-person dorms with lockers or private en suite rooms, and both are impeccably clean. The staff is fantastic and very willing to help you find your way through the city. The huge common are is equipped with kitchen appliances, a big screen TV and wifi internet access. The hostel has coin-operated laundry facilities on site and serves a simple but free breakfast in the morning.
