Description:

• Forchetta, established by a veterinarian-turned-self-taught-chef, serves an Italian menu made from locally sourced ingredients. The dishes are all elegantly prepared and plated beautifully, and while the restaurant was originally billed as a local hole-in-the-wall eatery, it has since evolved into a fine dining establishment. Don't pass up the steak with gorgonzola, grilled squid stuffed with yams, or the chocolate cake with pistachios.
  
  The atmosphere at Forchetta is almost as good as the food, and tables tend to linger for several hours, chatting over a glass of wine or multiple course meal. On weekend evenings, the tables quickly fill up with well-dressed (but nothing too fancy) groups of friends and couples ready for a night out.
