• Jen Dow Vegetarian Buffet not only serves vegetarian cuisine, but a particular form of Buddhist vegetarian cuisine that omits strong-flavored ingredients, like garlic or onions, which are thought to overstimulate the mind and body. That doesn't mean the food offerings lack flavor, though. In a fancy hotel-style dining room set up, Jen Dow serves vegetarian versions of sushi, noodle and rice dishes, salads, soups, dim sum, traditional Chinese dishes, and desserts. The restaurant does serve alcohol, but drinks are not included in the price of the buffet. The Chinese dishes are typically better than the Western ones.
