With a name like L'IDIOT, you know the owners don't take themselves too seriously, but the restaurant is seriously good. The wry menu contains a variety of seafood and meat entrees, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Diners can choose from three-, four-, or five-course set menus or order a la carte. Each elegantly presented dish shows off the skill and whimsey of the executive chef. The weekend brunch has some great dishes (crab eggs Benedict) as well. The quirky, warm interior looks like something from Alice in Wonderland and includes some stunning mosaic work.
