• Craving that which you cannot have is a fundamental part of traveling abroad, but thanks to Macho Tacos, a recently opened taco stand in Taipei, you can cross Mexican food cravings off your list. Nachos, quesadillas, burritos, tacos, hot sauce...are you hungry yet?
  
  The though of Mexican food in Asia is enough to make the most adventurous eaters shudder, but Macho Tacos actually delivers the goods: authentic flavors and ingredients with the ambiance of your favorite university taco stand. From the homemade corn tortillas to the little lime wedges served with the tacos, this place has not been Taiwanified one bit.
  
  The restaurant just opened in December 2010, so expect some changes in hours and tweaks to the menu.
