Description:

Even in the hottest months of the year, you'll find Taiwanese flocking to hot pot restaurants to dine on all sorts of meats and vegetables cooked in spicy broth and oil. Head to Mala with an appetite, because as soon as you walk in, you're met with a huge wall of seafood, vegetable, noodle, tofu, and meat choices to pile on your plate and dump into your bubbling vat of goodness at your table. While non-spicy versions are available, a hot pot isn't really hot pot without copious amounts of chilies floating in the liquid. To cool the burn, Mala has a self-serve dessert bar serving Haagen Daaz, cakes, and fresh fruits.

This place is busy every night of the week, so call ahead to reserve a table, especially if you're dining with a larger group.
