Shintori

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Bring some friends and have a laugh watching them try to figure out the mysterious black door.

    Description:

    • Just getting through the door at Shintori is exciting. When you approach the restaurant, you're met by a huge handle-less black door. The only way to open the door and gain entrance is to throw a small rock into an opening in the rock garden outside. The black door will slide open and you'll be able to enter. The interior of Shintori is sleek, dark and very modern. The black walls and furnishings are lit by focused lighting on the tables, so you'll be able to see your food while still enjoying the intimacy of the romantic space.

The menu includes traditional Japanese fare, including sushi and sashimi, all with a modern fusion twist. The food presentations are as sleek and stylish as the restaurant itself, and everything is moderately priced.
