- The literal translation of Xiao Miao is "Little Temple," but this temple draws more hungry patrons than worshipers. The dozen or so outdoor food stalls surrounding this temple make it the little sister to Keelung's famous temple night market. Locals find the little temple plaza a convenient daytime stop to pick up very cost-friendly noodle, tofu and rice dishes. Venture to the first noodle stall on the left facing the temple, and try the tasty beef noodle soup and dumplings. Most food stalls have seating inside and out.
