Description:

The foreigner-friendly YoFroyo, opened by a couple of UC San Diego grads, is based on the concept of serving a dessert to help beat the heat without the overwhelming sweetness of ice cream. Even with an English menu, ordering at YoFroyo is an overwhelming experience. The restaurant typically offers half a dozen yogurt flavors, including the original tart, mango, chocolate, and green tea. After you pick your yogurt flavor, you can add on the toppings. Familiar toppings, like chocolate chips, crumbled cookies, marshmallows, gummy bears, fruit, and sprinkles sit side by side with Taiwanese topping favorites, like red beans, mochi, and fruit jelly.

For those having a hard time deciding, YoFroyo displays a Creations menu with predetermined combinations of flavors.
