- The Miramar Entertainment Park opened in 2004, making it one of the newer malls in Taipei. The most striking feature of the complex is the massive Ferris wheel that lights up and night and offers nice views of the surrounding city during the 17-minute ride. The mall also houses an 8-story IMAX screen and a musical carousel.
The mall itself offers a range of shopping and dining options for all tastes and budgets. While not the most exciting sight to see in Taipei, if you have a free afternoon, you'll have plenty to keep you entertained at Miramar, especially on those hot summer days.
