Description:

While it may not live up to the high bar set by the National Palace Museum, the smaller collection at the National Museum of History is still well-maintained and comprehensive enough to satisfy the history buffs in your family. The museum houses two permanent collections of Huaxia artifacts and Buddhist statuary, as well as a wealth of rotating exhibitions featuring collections from single artists or from a period or style of Chinese art.

In the warmer months, visitors to the museum can stroll through the neighboring Taipei Botanical Gardens before or after their visit.
