This colorful, colonial-style house was built in 1913 by a wealthy tea merchant named Chen Chao-chun. In its long history, it has served as a meeting place for Taipei's political and social elite, an art gallery, a private residence, and an art activity center. Today, the renovated building hosts exhibitions and tea services. The building was used earlier in 2010 and 2011 as part of the Taipei Flora Expo.
