Description:
- This mountain village, an hour south of Taipei, is home to the Atayal tribal people. It is a popular tourist destination and an entry fee is required. Try one of the restaurants in the lane leading to the bridge. They serve traditional Taiwanese cuisine as well as wild vegetables unique to the area. An outdated train will take you to the waterfalls. You have the option of catching a cable car to the resort area.
