Description:

• One of the eight national parks in Taiwan, Yangmingshan is actually located between Taipei and Taipei New City with pieces of the park within Taipei City proper. If you're looking to commune with mother nature without having to travel to far, Yangmingshan is the perfect escape. Known for its cherry blossoms during the spring and volcanic hot springs year round, the park contains a variety of landscapes, including mountains, valleys, river basins and waterfalls with some of the better hiking trails in the country.
  
  Come during February or March to experience the cherry blossoms in full bloom, or visit during late September or early October to catch the stunning autumn leaves
