Description:
- This is one of the biggest statues in the world. Located in Taipei the statue of Guanyin (the Buddhist message of compassion and peace) stands tall overlooking the Zhongzheng Park and the harbour beyond. A large number of shops, restaurants and malls in the nearby areas make this a popular tourist destination. There are also some famous forts like Dawulun Fort and Gongzih Liao Fort nearby.
