Doubletree Hotel Tallahassee

Description:

  • Most of the media reporters covering the Bush-Gore 2000 election case before the Florida Supreme Court stayed at this 16-story hotel, one of the tallest buildings in town. The best thing about it is the location, just 2 blocks north of the Capitol Building at Park Avenue, as well as the views from the spacious rooms, especially those on the upper floors. It's usually booked solid by politicians and lobbyists during legislative sessions from March to May.
