- The University Area Hangout, located about a mile from the USF Tampa campus, is a staple in the undergrad drinking experience. The Hangout has all the makings of a great college bar: cheap drink specials, pool tables, darts, Karaoke nights, Beer Pong Tournaments and sticky floors. Ladies' Nights on Wednesdays let females skip the cover charge and drink for free and guys can get liquor pitchers or Long Island pitchers at very reasonable prices to keep up. The Hangout offers nickel beer night on Thursdays, so students can begin the weekend without breaking the bank. Bar food is served and smoking is permitted, so try the "famous" wings and wash them down with an ice cold pint!
