• Although this amphitheater has gone through a series of refurbishments and name changes, it still manages to retain some of it's old charm. Earlier known as Great Woods, and then later as the Tweeter Center, the Comcast Center is still the ideal place to catch some of the classiest band performances when you are in Massachusetts. As far as the venue goes, there's still the problem of never-ending queues, shoddy toilets, and really expensive drinks. However on the plus side, the Comcast Center does boast of state-of-the art technical equipment, free parking, a drive-in facility, and an extremely eclectic bunch of people who don't mind getting their throats sore cheering when their favorite bands perform. And if you don your rose-tinted spectacles, that pretty much covers everything you need in order to have a great time.
