waka, The Strand

User Review:

• The Waka is an important Tribal canoe for the region, and a good place to start if you want to go for a pleasant walk, it will lead onto the Maori Pa (Fortress), Rose gardens, and `The Elms` are near also. Its not bungy jumping, but nice nonetheless, and if its adventure your after, you could try breaking into the police station which is across the road from the Pa site.
