Description:
Café Honore, a small airy eatery with just a handful of tables situated on a busy restaurant strip in Colonia Palmira, is best known for gourmet sandwiches that most locals only dream of being able to eat daily. Only high-quality meats and cheeses, which are sold on the deli side of the restaurant, and freshly baked breads are used. There's also a nice array of soups, including tasty corn chowder, a global wine list, and Putomayo music collections often playing.

The tortilla soup was excellent. Had a sandwich to go with, can't remember which but was good also. Looking forward to my next visit.

good crowd

You'll get a pretty good selection of sandwiches and salads. The decoration is casual and classy. You can always get to see a who is who of Honduran society having a meal there.

Good food

Very good food. I recommend the sandwiches. They also have a small gift/grocery shop where you can buy imported spices and things.
