  • Opened in 1999, this 24-story tower is by far the newest megahotel in Tel Aviv. Public areas are enclosed by a soaring, balcony-lined atrium that dwarfs the lobbies of all other hotels in Tel Aviv, but don't catch vistas of the Mediterranean; the hotel doesn't have the feel of an urban beachfront resort offered by other top Tel Aviv hotels. Guest rooms do have views of the sea; the higher your room, the more dazzling vistas of Tel Aviv you get. Rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and up-to-date, though the flowered textiles in the decor are surprisingly passé. There are nice touches throughout the hotel: duvet covers over the blankets and eco-friendly toiletries in bathrooms. The inventive Aubergine Restaurant, an excellent choice for fine kosher dining, is on the premises. The pool is small for a hotel this size.
