Ben Gurion House

Description:

  • The house and personal items remain as they were when Paula and David Ben-Gurion lived here. Ben-Gurion's impressive personal library, comprising some 20,000 books, bears witness to his knowledge and scholarship. The building itself is an interesting example of Bauhaus/International design. Most of the signs in the museum are in Hebrew only, but this will not detract much from your visit. In the bedroom, note a blocked-in window that was used as a bomb shelter.
