• This recently renovated century-old building, not far from the Puente Vieja in downtown Tela, is one of the best deals in the city. If it wasn't so cheap, you could say it's a boutique hotel. Fine-looking exposed brick walls give the singles, doubles, and triples here a refined look and feel. Handmade wood furniture and decor comprised of local art and handicrafts lend the hotel a uniquely Tela-ized feel, as do the open-air wrap around hallways surrounding the three-level building that affords decent views of the old city. The hotel runs a small tour company in the lobby with trips to the national parks and biking and kayaking excursions.
