• Here you'll find a smart designer feel without the stiff price tag; the walls often host exhibitions by local artists. The rooms and their attached bathrooms are small, and furnished with a Zen-like simplicity that's at least a step up from hostel-style plain. In one of the Hague's nicest neighborhoods, there's a good selection of local bars and restaurants, but the hotel's own street, despite being central, is quite quiet. There's no elevator.
