Fort Bennett - Tobago

  • Description:

    • Located in Black Rock, in the vicinity of Plymouth, Fort Bennett is a beautiful lookout point which was built in 1778 by the British as a means of protecting ships from American privateers. Sugar would be loaded onto the ships in the bay. Today, the fort has a quaint little pavilion, under which visitors can sit and admire the remains of the battery or simply take in the atmosphere, including the lush gardens.
