Capsule Land Shibuya

Description:

  • Whether you've burned the candle too brightly at both ends, or you're looking for a uniquely Japanese experience, staying in a capsule hotel is a must-try in Tokyo. Traditionally used by businessmen that either missed the last train home or were too drunk to try, capsule hotels provide cheap, basic, tiny accommodation for individuals. Capsule Land Shibuya has all the basics - gender segregated changing rooms, control panel in the capsule, TV and, nicely, free coffee for guests. Rooms typically measure 1m x 1m x 2m. It is also a short walk away from Shibuya station, putting guests at the very heart of Tokyo. Totally worth a night of your time - unless you suffer from claustrophobia.
