- Kawayu Onsen is situated along the pebbled banks of the Totsu River. Fujiya has well-equipped Japanese-style rooms with meals served in the room. The wooden indoor baths have pebbled bottoms and are segregated and there are also two outdoor pools. There is an interesting bathing experience -- digging down into the loose pebbles produces a hot spring. Fujiya rents shovels and you can dig your own bath in the pebbles.
