  • The Hotel Grand Pacific Le Daiba has worked really hard to create the authentic atmosphere of a luxury tropical resort, going as far as to import their own coconut trees. The entire hotel building is sea-facing so every room has a view of the ocean and one of Tokyo's longest suspension bridges, the Rainbow bridge. The windows have French-style canopies and the rooms are airy and light. The hotel is well-known, both by visitors and locals, for its astonishing range of restaurants and cafes; you can sample soba noodles, teppanyaki or fine French cuisine. This is a great hotel if you are looking for something a little different in Tokyo; it also gives you the rather surreal experience of being able to view the Statue of Liberty replica opposite the hotel.
