Description:
- This is a traditional Japanese inn situated in the hot spring village of Yumura. The water comes from a very powerful hot spring situated in the center of the town. The hot spring gushes out 490 liters of very hot water every minute of the day. There are separate bathing facilities for men and women, and hot water never runs short. Indoor baths are traditional wooden tubs and outside are two boulder-strewn open-air pools. The water is simple thermal and is used to treat arthritis, rheumatism, aching limbs, and the general relief of stress and nervousness.
