Zauo

Description:

  • As one of the best gimmicks in town for theme based establishments, Zao is uniquely designed as a fishing restaurant. Here, patrons have the opportunity to fish for their food from the deck of an old-fashioned wooden ship or from the more convenient dining floor. Once you have hooked your catch of the day, the staff will happily prepare it for you so you can relish the fruits of your labor. Located on the first floor of the Washington Hotel, it is about 10 minutes on foot from Shinjuku Station. Reasonably priced Japanese food with a fun atmosphere. - Erin Sanchez
