Daiichikeihin

Description:

  • Daiichikeihin is an old-fashioned neighborhood sento (bathhouse). The interior is traditional, from the mural of Mt. Fuji, the symbol of Japan, to the bandai between the men's and women's baths. The latter is a traditional raised platform on which the bath attendant sits, collecting fees and watching over both dressing rooms and baths. It functions as a combination front desk and lifeguard stand. Daiichikeihin costs JPY1,000 and has several public bathes in which you can soak and relax.
