- Often dubbed "the dumping temple", the atmosphere here is somber. For this is where the bodies of over 10,000 women who worked in the brothels of Yoshiwara are interred in unmarked graves. Tragically, many of these women died in their early twenties. Near the memorial stone incense is burned for their souls. Admission: Free
