- Kansuiro is a three-story, first-class ryokan named by the former Meiji-era Prime Minister, Ito Hirobumi. The inn extends out over the banks of the Haya River, providing guests with wonderful riverfront views. The rooms are Japanese-style tatami-mat rooms, where guests sleep on futon bedding. Kansuiro has men's and women's indoor baths and a beautiful, open-air bath next to the river. The water is simple thermal and treats rheumatism, neuralgia, aches and pains, and skin diseases. Kansuiro has delicious Japanese cuisine, including pheasant and wild boar stew in winter.
