• Starting from the Ueno Park, where you can see some historical spots, walk towards Tokyo University of the Arts to the Uenosakuragi intersection. From there, just explore the narrow, back street. Keep heading north. You will see some charming local stores, the lives of local people who are all down-on-earth. This is where you see the real, conventional Tokyo. Try to get to the Yanaka shopping street and then the destination, Niippori station. There are always interesting discoveries along this walking route.
