Description:
- The Air Canada Centre is Toronto's biggest sports and entertainment venue. It is the home of three sports teams: the Raptors (basketball), the Maple Leafs (hockey, Canada's official winter sport), and Toronto Rock (lacrosse, which is Canada's official summer sport, believe it or not). It also hosts concerts and live events, so when stars of the calibre of Lady Gaga, Rod Stewart and Usher come to town, this is where they perform. The whole complex is about 665,000 square feet in size, and it can seat nearly 20,000 people, depending on the event and the layout. It is located right downtown, near the CN Tower and the Rogers Centre, and only a short walk from Union Station (which services both inter-city trains and local transit).
